The parish Religious Education Program provides catechetical instruction for children in public schools from pre-school through high school. The program also provides for sacramental preparations for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. It is a requirement that students be enrolled in a Religious Education class prior to receiving the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation. First Eucharist and Reconciliation are celebrated in Grade 2 and Confirmation in Grade 8. Therefore, regular attendance in 1st grade and 7th grade is a requirement to being accepted into the Sacramental Preparation Program for Grades 2 and 8 the following year.

To register your children, please fill out the form and return it to the Religious Education Office. The High School class is based on the Life Teen Program, teachings from the Diocese of Harrisburg and other teen based courses. All High School students are welcome to attend one class or all classes. Come as your schedule allows. There is no charge for theses classes. High School meets in the YM Room in the lower level of the Main Church on Wednesday from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Youth Ministry activities to follow from 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
All Preschool classes and the Kindegarten class on Wednesday and Thursday are
based on the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
