Pre-School Information

St. John's offers a nurturing social and religious program for both Junior (3-4 year olds) and Senior (4-5 year olds) classes. the pre-school program operates three days a week in the Parish Educational Center. Our Junior classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays and our Senior classes meet on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The morning sessions are from 9:00am - 11:30am and the afternoon sessions are from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

Our pre-school offers a relaxed, fun-filled environment where your child will be able to socialize with other children as they develop a love of learning. We introduce colors, numbers, letters and other concepts in a comfortable manner. Our program includes field trips, visits from community helpers and holiday celebrations, which are woven into our schedule. We encourage parent involvement with parties, field trips, eye screening and classroom visitation during American Education Week. Christmas and Easter are a time for our prayer services in church. At the end of the year, we have a program celebrating the year and a graduation ceremony for our Senior classes.

If you indicated to the office staff that you have pre-school age children, you will be given a pre-school registration form. If you have any questions regarding the pre-school program, or would like to arrange a visit, call the Pre-school office at 235-3525, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
